The reserve team comes off a fanatic 8-3 victory the last matchday against Forgeside AFC and climbed up to 3rd in the table. Pontnewynydd reserves look to extend their league performance at home to Blaenavon Blues 3rd side.
A tough fixture ahead for the dragons with the Blues being a highly resourceful side.
Only one other Division Two fixture this weekend. Mardy AFC Reserves host Fairfield United Reserves. Mardy aims to close the gap on Tranch AFC with 2 games in hand. A victory for Mardy will see them 2 points off the top spot with a game and a victory in hand over Tranch.
Just the one fixture this weekend in Division One. Usk Town host Clydach Wasps both teams looking to capitalize on each other’s recent form.
