Last-minute changes due to injuries and positive covid results left a weakened Pontnewynydd AFC first team missing some key players this past weekend and it clearly showed as the first team went down 4-0 to Pontypool Town. This was the first fixture since returning back to football that Pontnewynydd AFC failed to get on the score sheet.
